• | Our History & Journey

Kopila Nepa was spurred from the closing of NEW Help Association, which started Brick Children School in 2002. Founded in 2012 (2069 B.S), Kopila Nepa began as a small community-based initiative supporting the children of brick factory workers in Sanogaun, Lalitpur. Over time, it evolved into a registered non-profit organization with expanded outreach to other marginalized and migrant families.

Through partnerships with local governments and donors, Kopila Nepa established Brick Children School i.e. Kopila Preparatory Satellite Classes in different locations, Early Childhood Development Classes, Sewing Classes to the local women and Kopila CP Day Care Center. Today, it continues to advocate for child rights, inclusive education, and sustainable community engagement.
